Ms. Madonna A. Pittman, of Baltimore, Maryland formerly of Red Springs, NC transitioned from Earth to Glory on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in her home in Maryland. .
Funeral services for Ms. Pittman are as follows:
Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at the LE Floyd Funeral Home located at 115 Buie St. Red Springs, NC and the Homegoing Celebration will take place on Monday March 5, 2018 at 12pm noon at the St James AME Zion Church located at 116 W. Brown St. Red Springs, NC with a one hour viewing prior to the service beginning. Burial will follow immediately following the service at the Rockfish Memorial Park located in Fayetteville, NC
Madonna A. Pittman leaves to cherish two brothers: Christophus Pittman of Red Springs, NC and Brian Pittman of Capital Heights, MD; Eight Aunts: Barbara Smith Fairley (David) and Patricia McNeill both of Red Springs, NC; Brenda Cooper and Lillie M. Cooper, both of Fayetteville, NC; Deborah Jackson Nesbit of Washington, DC; and Eula Pittman, Gloria P. Johnson and Margaret Cooper all of Red Springs, NC; Five Uncles: Leo Sinclair of Plainfield, NJ; Abdullah Ibn Muhammad of Somerset, NJ; Donald Sinclair and John W. Leach, both of Red Springs, NC; and Barron Avent “Pete” Bey of Washington, DC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
Madonna has gone home to be with her parents Alton and Ann Pittman and her brother, Alphonso Pittman, all of whom preceded her in transition.
