Rev. Donald Simpson Obituary

On Saturday evening, February 10, 2018 Rev. Donald Simpson beheld the Glory of His Lord and Savior! He was born in Robeson County, NC on July 2, 1964 to Mrs. Carrie L. Simpson and the late Mr James Simpson, Sr.

Rev. Simpson accepted Christ at an early age and worked faithfully in the Little Marsh Chapel AME Zion Church in St Paul’s, NC. Later in life he joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Salisbury NC where he accepted the call into ministry to preach the Word of God.

Rev. Simpson was preceded in death by his father, Mr. James Simpson, Sr., and brothers Bennie and William Simpson.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 16 from 1:30-2:00 a visitation with family and friends and funeral beginning at 2:00 at the Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church located on 1920 Shirley Ave in Salisbury, North Carolina. Memorial Service to follow at a later date.
