With tender hearts and compassionate hands, the LE Floyd Funeral Home Family announces the earthly transition of a gentle soul, Miss Chatanna O. Patterson of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Miss Patterson quietly transitioned from Earth to Glory on Monday, May 25, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Services to commemorate the legacy of Miss Patterson are being scheduled and will be as follows:
Visitation will be Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 1-6 pm at L.E. Floyd Funeral Home, 115 Buie Street, Red Springs, North Carolina.
Homegoing Celebration will be held Sunday, June 5, 2026, at St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center, 4657 McLeod Road, Red Springs North Carolina.
The Patterson and connected families are receiving services of dignity and distinguished class from the LE Floyd Funeral Home & Cremations of Red Springs, North Carolina.
OBITUARY
Chatanna Ohiyesha Patterson was born on January 19, 1975, to Arlether Patterson and John McLaughlin. She departed her earthly home on May 25, 2026.
Chatanna graduated from Red Springs High in 1993. Over the course of her life, she held many positions, but enjoyed her time at Upchurch Elementary School and Turlington School as the coach for the Robotics Team.
Chatanna liked Dunkin’ Donuts, was known as the DoorDash Queen, enjoyed crocheting, writing poems, and good music, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Proceeding her in death are her mother, Arlether Patterson; her maternal and paternal grandparents, and one brother, Olandis McLaughlin.
Forever cherishing her memories include her daughters, Imani Patterson and Arlethia Patterson; one son, Anthony Shaw II, and bonus son, JaMario (Juju) Patterson. Grandchildren: Kayden Jackson, Tristan Graham, Tatyana Graham, Bryson McClean, Khalisia Gittens (K.K), Paisley Graham. Father, John (Pamela) McLaughlin; Bonus Father Amos (Sonnie Boy) Patterson. , Sisters: Teheiya Patterson, Taiwanna Patterson, Heather McLaughlin, Jennita McNeill, LaTesa (Marquino) Douglas, Jennifer Nutt. One Brother, Gerald Horton. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Friends.
