Doreen Denise (Hawkins) Love

Mrs. Doreen Denise Hawkins Love entered this world on July 8, 1962 in New York, New York; Doreen was the 3rd child born to Helen Hawkins Cupidore. Doreen left this world on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 to enter her eternal resting place. Doreen was preceded in death by her twin brother, Lawrence Hawkins and a granddaughter, Raziya Hawkins.

She was raised by her mother, Helen Hawkins Cupidore and her step-father, Larry Cupidore in Bronx, New York. Doreen was married to Reggie Love, whom she met in Massachusetts while living with her brother Kevin Capers and sister-in-law, Antoinette James Capers. Doreen quickly fell in love and decided to leave Massachusetts and start their lives together in North Carolina. During their union Doreen and Reggie had two children together, Reggie and Brittany. Doreen was a very special lady, she always there to help anytime she could. Doreen would go without so that others could have. An unselfish spirit, she lived by her motto, "Family First." Doreen said it often and lived by it constantly. She will be sorely missed by those who loved her and those she loved.

Those she left behind to mourn her loss. Her husband, Reggie Love; her children Reggie and Brittany and granddaughter Skylar. Mother, Mrs. Helen Hawkins Cupidore; her brother and sister Kevin Capers (Antoinette) and Diane Campbell; mother-in-law, Barbara Love; one sister-in-law, Dorthea "Bunny" Smith, two brothers-in-law, Roderick Smith and Dwayne Love, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
