Elleryc Cedre' Larlinte Williams, 19, was born Sunday, November 23, 1997 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He attended Wake Technical Community College as well as completed the Southeast Fire/Rescue College and Law Enforcement Expo in the Introductory Firefighter Program and served as a member of the Red Springs Volunteer Firefighters. Elleryc is one of the few people in this world who can say that they fulfilled their life-long dream. He was passionate about his work and the task of caring for people.
He enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing with his little sisters and little cousins. He was a very special young man that took pride in helping others. He was a Junior Court Officer for the Cumberland County Teen Court. He was an advocate for justice and a great supporter of all he encountered. Elleryc had a giving heart and beautiful smile. He loved joking and making people laugh. The family deemed him an honorary paramedic and doctor. There was nothing you could go through medically that he failed to have a resolution to. After a lifelong battle of Sickle Cell Anemia SS, Elleryc entered into his heavenly home.
He was preceded in death by his great-great grandmothers, Mrs. Inez Smith Galbreath adn Mrs. Mildred McLaurin, his great-great-great aunt, Mrs. Lena Jones, his great-grandfathers, Mr. Jarvis Johnson and Mr. Lacy Buie, Sr., his great grandmothers, Mrs. Thelma Buie and Mrs. Janie Mae Patterson, his great uncle, Mr. Reginald Currie, and his godfather, Mr. Alex Campbell.
Funeral Services were conducted on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 1pm at the St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center on Daniel McLeod Rd. Red Springs, North Carolina with Apostle Anthony Buie, Officiating, Burial followed at the Alloway Cemetery located in Red Springs, North Carolina and a Repast immediately following burial at the Red Springs Community Center located on Cross St. also in Red Springs, North Carolina.
He leaves to cherish his memory with his mother, Ebony C. Williams; father, Stanley D. Johnson; three sisters, Ynobe C.I. Williams, Ivorty C.M. Williams, Chasity M. Johnson; one brother, Sean Johnson; grandmothers: Cecelia E. Williams and Hattie Johnson McLean (Willie), grandfathers, Robert N. McPhaul, Sr., (Renea), Larry V. Patterson (Yvette), and Henry Buie, Sr., (Janet), great-grandmothers, Maggie Norris, Vivian McPhaul, and Rosetta Johnson, great-grandfather, Joe McLaurin. It takes a village to raise a child.
He also leaves his village: special great aunt, Cynthia W. Sumpter (Sherman, Jr.), special cousins, Caroline Sumpter, Nina Sumpter, Shernelia Sumpter, Cierra Sumpter, Sherman Lee Sumpter, III (Trei), Xavier Currie, Alaiyah Sumpter, Nikalyce Sumpter, Kayla Smith, Annie Patterson, Greachen Locklear (Keith), Echo McPhaul, Keion McPhaul and Kimani McPhaul. Aunts: Robyn A. McPhaul, Tara S. Black, LaToya M. Black, Tiffany M. McRae (Ambrose), Nikki M. Ashley (George), April Johnson Melvin (Samuel), Krystal Johnson, Renee Smith, Anna McLean, and India Brown. Uncles: Robert McLean, Kenneth S. Glover, Robert N. McPhaul, Jr. (Christy), Larry V.
