Karen (Kal) Morgan

Ms. Karen Morgan "Kal" of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina was born on December 16, 1965 and departed this life at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina on Thursday, March 9, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her father, IJ Morgan, her fiancé, Herbert McArthur, Jr., sister Barbara Angela Morgan and her daughter Kristen Shanell Morgan.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Oakridge Missionary Baptist Church at 3pm.

She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Morgan of Lumber Bridge; two sons: Michael Morgan and David Morgan of Lumber Bridge, NC; two daughters: Veronica Morgan and Ashley Morgan of Lumber Bridge, NC; three grandchildren: Gary Alford and Aaliyah McLean of Fayetteville, NC and Chance Hatfield of Burlington, NC. Four sisters: Bonita Baldwin of Fayetteville, NC; Detrice Morgan and Deloris Melvin (Vaugline) of Lumber Bridge, NC;  and Jacqueline Morgan of St. Paul's, NC. Two brothers: Jerry Morgan of Fayetteville, NC and Eric Morgan (Tina) of St. Paul's, NC and her beloved nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Karen was loved by many and well known for her sense of humor and her love for helping others.
