Mrs. McCollum quietly transitioned from Earth to Glory on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Scottish Pines Rehabilitation Center in Laurinburg, North Carolina.

Services to commemorate the legacy of Mrs. McCollum are being scheduled and will be as follows:

Viewing: Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the LE Floyd Funeral Home & Cremations, 115 Buie Street, Red Springs, North Carolina from 4 pm- 7 pm. 
Homegoing Celebration: Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Johnson Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, 11000 Red Springs Road, Red Springs, North Carolina at 2 pm.
