Margie loved to cook and read. When football or basketball came on, Margie was our youngest cheer leader. She was such a joy to be around and loved caring for her family and friends. In her younger days, Margie ran track and was fondly known for her ability to walk and move very fast.

In the mid-eighties, Margie joined Rhyne Memorial United Methodist Church. She regularly attended Sunday School, was a faithful member of the Worship Choir, served as a Communion Steward, and participated in Senior Saints Day until her health started to fail.

Funeral arrangements will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 1pm at Rhyne Memorial United Methodist Church in Red Springs, NC and burial will follow at the Community Rest Cemetery, also in Red Springs, NC.
