With tender hearts and compassionate hands, the LE Floyd Funeral Home Family announces the earthly transition of a gentle soul, Ms. Portia L. Monroe. Ms. Monroe quietly stepped out of life's backdoor on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
Services to commemorate the legacy of Ms. Monroe are being scheduled and are as follow:
Viewing on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the LE Floyd Funeral Home from 2pm to 5pm and the Homegoing Celebration will take place on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 12pm at Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Wagram, North Carolina with burial to follow at Matthews Cemetery in Wagram, North Carolina.
